Once again this season, Glens Falls TKD hosted its annual Christmas party at the South Glens Falls Firehouse on Reynolds Road.  More than 200 attended the festivities, enjoying dancing to the DJ’s tunes and sharing many gifts and awards.  It was a wonderful time to get together outside the  dojang and get to know eachother even better.  Thanks to all who attended!

On October 22, 20 students from our school traveled to Long Island for the New York Open, sponsored by our Grandmaster Y.H. Park. We had an extremely productive day, earning more than thirty medals among them. Events included forms, breaking and sparring. We’re very proud of our students’ results; they represented our school in spectacular fashion. Just as importantly, they had an out-of-school experience and shared the camaraderie of being in the same hotel, eating together and treaveling together to a great event.

Forty-six students from GFTKD attended the CaRMAA Tournament in Shenendahowa on November 5th, helping to collect two pick-up truckloads of food for the local food pantry. Our students represented us in tremendous fashion, garnering fifty-four trophies in such events as forms, weapons and breaking.
